Dietitians

Alana Doyle (APD)

Alana joined The Gut Friendly Dietitian team after an exceptional student placement in 2024 where her knowledge, compassion and genuine ability to connect with clients truly stood out.

Since then, she has continued to expand her skills in close mentorship with Geraldine, our founding dietitian. This ongoing mentorship has seen Alana quickly develop strong expertise in IBS, food intolerances and overall gut health. Alongside this, Alana has cultivated a particular interest in women’s health—including perimenopausal and menopausal care, menstrual wellbeing, and nutrition support for conditions such as endometriosis and PCOS.

Alana understands how overwhelming gut symptoms and hormonal changes can feel, and is committed to making nutrition simple, practical and effective. She brings fresh, evidence-based knowledge and a warm, empathetic approach to every consultation—making it her mission to translate complex nutrition science into clear strategies that help clients feel understood, empowered and confident in managing their health. With her balanced focus on both gut and women’s health, Alana supports clients through every life stage with care that is thoughtful, personalised and grounded in the latest research.

Outside of the clinic, Alana enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking up a storm, getting outdoors through hiking and camping, discovering hidden gems at op-shops, and soaking up the energy of live music.
