CONSULTATIONS
Our team of gut health specialist dietitians provide expert support for IBS, food intolerance and digestive health issues. We consult with patients across Australia via telehealth as well as in-person at our Wollongong clinic—offering appointments from 7am to 6:30pm on selected weekdays. These times are in high demand and tend to fill quickly, so we recommend booking ahead to secure your preferred spot.
For any questions, including which dietitian to see, visit our FAQs or email dietitian@thegutfriendlydietitian.com.au
REBATE INFORMATION
You may be eligible for rebates through Medicare or Private Health Insurance. Please note though, the Australian healthcare system only allows one rebate to be claimed per appointment. If claiming through Medicare, then Private Health rebates do not apply and vice versa.

A rebate of $63.40 is available for patients with chronic conditions and complex care needs, under a Chronic Disease Management Plan from your GP. The full consultation fee (before the rebate) is payable first then Medicare reimburses the rebate into your account, usually within 24hrs of your appointment.
Please indicate when booking if you have a care plan.
PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
Rebates may be available under private health insurance depending on your level of cover, so check if your policy includes dietetics.
